Life so far...

Hey Everyone!
I know I haven't written in a loooooong time. I'm very sorry. Not to create excuses for myself but we haven't had a working computer in about 2 months. I am so behind on everything!
I have an upcoming performance December 9th. It will be at the Downtown square in Ocala. I am really excited because this will be the first time that I will be doing more than 2 songs with a band behind me! The first time I ever performed with a band was the day after I recorded in Nashville. I remember I was soo nervous that day. :)
The guys that will be playing with me on the 9th are awesome people. They're extremely nice and I can't tell you how much I appreciate them. This will probably be the most fun performance that I've ever done. There will be a bunch of other entertainers there also.
Dan Story and Sez Who, Shane Wooten, and Matt Wilde. It will bw an awesome night. I'm so excited. :)

I got news a couple of weeks ago that I am number 99 on the Christian Country Billboard Chart. That was really exciting!!!! I can't believe how fast everything is happening. My cd has only been out for about 2 months and I'm already on the charts!

The Radio Interview

Hi! Everyone!

I know I haven't written in a looooooong while! and I'm incredibly sorry. I still don't have a computer I'm on my dad's work laptop so I have a computer for a little while!

I had my very first Over -the -phone interview. It was with a radio station in Idaho! I was terribly nervous. I had no clue that it would live! I thought that it would be recorded and I could do a couple retakes........NOPE! But oh well! I think I did ok. I took a little comfort in the fact that the person who was interviewing me was extremely nice, and I had an idea of what she was going to ask me. I just hope that I didn't sound snooty and prissy. I don't think that I did but I can't really remember the interview. It's kinda wierd.....if something really cool or exciting happens to me it takes me a while to remember it. It's kind of annoying.....now that I think about it.

Hiyah!

Hiya!! Everybody!

Well......my compilation cd(a cd that has my one release "Have A Little Faith" on it) has gone out to radio stations across the country,and we have gotten great results!!!! I'm soooo happy !!! My actual 3 song cd just got sent out maybe......a week or two ago. We haven't gotten results back from that yet so keep your fingers crossed.

This week I got my own p.a. system. 2 moniters, 2 main speakers, and I'm getting a new mic. So this is very exciting for me!!! It's all set up in our Family Room and it's taking up almost the whole space. but it's still really cool!

I am also going to be performing at FAFO ( Fine Arts For Ocala) this Saturday the 28th at 12:30. at Mc Pherson ( i really hope that's how you spell it!!) So if you have nothing to do then you could maybe possibly come and see me!!!

Hello, again!

Hey!! everyone!! I'm sooo sorry I haven't written another blog sooner. My computer has been broken for a month!! Can you believe that! Honestly, I don't know how I made it through.lol Well I got some great news this past week!!! My cd has arrived!! I was jumping up and down when I found out. It's a great feeling when you've worked so hard and you finally get the finished product and it turns out just as you expected, and wanted and hoped for. This week was the greatest week I think I have ever had. THe whole cd just takes me back to summer time. Going through the whole process of recording and practicing and photoshoots. It was just simply amazing. so now that you've heard how HAPPY i am.......hehe
